I'm Rick, a CELTA-certified English language teacher.

Raised bilingually by an English mother and Dutch father. Lived, studied and worked in London.
Originally a classically trained singer and therefore have a sharp ear for pronunciation and vowel formation.

As a singer, I'm used to speaking and singing a lot of different languages (Italian, German, French, Russian, Czech, English, Dutch) and am used to working, and speaking English, with people from all around the world, which I like very much!

I have a lot of experience with online teaching, as well as live in person.
I teach grammar, listening, reading and speaking, using materials from different course books, adapted to the needs of you as a student.
My lessons are a combination of depth and personal touch.

I'm really passionate about languages, and I can speak and teach English, Spanish, and Turkish. I am currently learning Korean, French, and Arabic. For this reason, you can be sure that I know what it's like to go through the process of learning a language and I can find the best ways to help you reach your language goals, taking into account the perspectives of both the teacher and the learner.

In my 9 years as a teacher, I have mostly worked with adult learners (aged 18 or older), with a particular focus on:

1. General, conversational, business or academic English (although I can teach any level, I specialize in intermediate and advanced classes).

2. General and conversational Spanish classes.

3. Basic and intermediate Turkish lessons (I am a C2 and I have been studying Turkish for 7 years).

In addition to the classes, I can help you prepare for presentations, business meetings or calls, traveling abroad, entertaining visitors, among others.

I love to teach students with completely different backgrounds, cultures, professions, and needs. My classes are and have always been completely personalized to fit students' needs. You will really notice a big difference from previous classes you may have taken because we will be focusing on filling the gaps that you may have and developing your language skills as needed. EXTRA: If you want to know more details about my classes: I work with a virtual classroom created using Google Classroom exclusively for your personal use. Here, I place all the materials we will use during our class, including a Word file where I will write your feedback for every class (New Vocabulary, Pronunciation Corrections, and New Grammar) so you can check it whenever you like.

I also create interactive Quizlet and Kahoot exercises that we will use during the class but that you can also use to practice on your own so you can reach your goals more quickly and in a fun way. In addition to this, we will use videos, songs, podcasts, articles, grammar PPTs and exercises, and whatever material you are interested in using.

Hello! I would love to help you improve your knowledge of Danish. I am a new Danish teacher, but as a teacher in the language `music´ I have been working for several years. I am an organist with more than 20 years of experience. I teach choirs for children and adults and I give private piano lessons to both younger and older people. I am very interested in languages and I think that my experience in teaching music can be very fruitful as a Danish language teacher. Hello everybody, I am Revan. I am a native Turkish speaker. I am an experienced Turkish instructor who has taught Turkish as a foreign language in Turkey and the U.S.A.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field. I hold both DELTA and TESOL certificates, both of which are world-known language teaching specialization trainings. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for more than ten years and teaching Turkish as a foreign language for over five years. As an English language teacher, I have worked with different age groups and specialized with teens and adults. I have been working for one of the top universities in Turkey as a language instructor. As for Turkish language teaching, I worked as a Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant and taught Turkish at Amherst College, UMass- Amherst, Smith College, and Mt. Holyoke College.

In years, I have learned that there is no one specific teaching method as all methods are unique to the needs and abilities of the students. That's why I apply methods ranging from communicative language teaching to flipped-classroom based on the learners' needs.

I am teacher of classical philology with a 17 year old experience for preparing students for greek university exams and degrees for Greek language. I am tutor and I work has freelance teacher.
I teach with new methods using books with quality and using monthly tests and mock exams verified by the Official Organisation of the exams.

my name is Veronika and I am a student in Florence at the academy of fine arts. I have been in Italy for three years and I really like the Italian language. In school i learned english and during journeys i used to speak a lot of english so i'm also able to teach in english.
I am from Germany so I am a German native speaker. I have already taught German to some of my friends and would love to teach my language to more people as well. At the beginning I would like to do grammar lessons and the most used words to deepen the basic knowledge of the language. Then I will continue to have conversations in German to increase vocabulary and to give confidence in dialogue and in any case in speaking the language in real scenarios. The most important thing by learning a new language is to learn it through hearing and speaking. Being difficult at first to formulate sentences will then become easier and easier and thus you arrive at a fluent and confident way to speak the new language.
For myself I learned Italian three years ago with this method so I also know what it is like to learn a language and I can help you with my teaching to learn German that way.

I'm a German language teacher with a Master's degree in German. Since I was born and lived over 12 years in Switzerland and grew up in a bilingual family, I speak also Swiss German and Croatian on a native level :)
I started to teach German in 2016, but since I love languages I work also as professional translator and became sworn translator for the German language.

– ABOUT THE CLASS –

I offer standard German language lessons for A1, A2, B1, B2 level, they include grammar, speaking, writing and reading exercises.
This is ideal for students who want to improve their fluency and communication skills through conversations by actively participating in the class and to learn new words, to improve their vocabulary by reading texts and listeninng audios on various topics and learn the grammar.
All learning materials and exercises are FREE and will be provided before or during the lesson.
