What our teachers offer
Dynamic English and Russian classes with experienced teacher.
Who am I and what is my experience?
Hi! My name is Andrei, and I am your English teacher. I have 5 years of in person and online English teaching experience. I’ve taught in several countries, various private schools, online academies and also tutored one on one. I’ve worked with a wide age range (my youngest student was 3 and the oldest one 65 years of age). I’ve taught conversational classes, IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge exam preparation and business English.
What is my philosophy?
I think I can offer something unique. Being passionate about languages (I know four of them proficiently: English, Spanish, Catalan and Russian) I understand the frustrations and difficulties one can face. My English language teaching experience in different countries and my own language learning experience helped me understand the mistakes people tend to make, depending on their mother language. Discovering that was not only a groundbreaking epiphany for my own language learning but also, an amazing tool for teaching, and now can make your learning process easier and clearer! I am convinced that knowledge of the second language is one of the most important skills in the 21st century. Look how connected the world is right now! I also think that real life conversation is the easiest and the most interactive way of learning. Now, conversational classes don’t have to be just us chatting. It is a tool to introduce grammar, syntax and vocabulary. Besides that, it is the most problematic area of language learning for most people. Thus, I adapt to every class and student creating tailored and interactive programs.

I am a CELTA certified Teacher of English and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. I have a vast experience teaching General English, preparation for Cambridge exams-, pronunciation, speaking and developing writing skills. I have been teaching for over 18 years to students of different age ranges (young learners and adults at universities, middle and high school and academies.
What I love most about teaching is that I get to help students and make them see how beautiful this language is and how they can make it useful for their academic and professional lives. Another good point is that we can learn from each other and the opportunity to plan every class in a different way.
I think I can tailor your lessons according to your needs so, do not hesitate and contact me.

Hello! My name is Ainhoa, I am Spanish and I live in Bilbao, a city in the north of Spain. I love languages and learning about new cultures, that is why I decided to teach Spanish. I find it very gratifying to see the students improve.
I am patient and cheerful, and I strive to create a comfortable environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes. I am positive and I firmly believe that anyone with effort, perseverance and correct accompaniment can improve.
I am an online Spanish teacher certified by ELE International and I have been teaching Spanish since 2019. In 2020 I formalized my business and became freelance.
In these years, I have studied Spanish grammar thoroughly and I have tried many teaching methods that were taught to me in my training, which has led me to create my own method with what I have seen has given better results. I use spaced repetition, create projects, do real-life rollplays, and have the student come to the correct conclusion on their own using questions. For all this, we will use manuals that will guide your learning, the campus diffusion books.
I have helped students of all levels to improve Spanish until they can speak correctly. Each student learns differently and has their own challenges, so I have learned which resources work best for each person.
In my classes you will find a smily face and a relaxed atmosphere, in which you will feel free to ask questions as much as necessary and to express yourself without fear of mistakes.
See you soon!

Hello,
My name is Tiska. I am a French Teacher with experiences with adults and teenagers in Public Education (USA) and Language Schools. I am holding a Master Degree in FLE (Teaching French as a Foreign Language).
Join a small group of learners of 2 or 3 for conversation lessons with me. An article or video to watch before the lesson and a conversation with personalized corrections during the lesson. This option saves you at least 10 euros per lesson on Colanguage.
Group opening:
Monday and/or Wednesday from 17:30 to 18:30 (French time).
Level: intermediate (B1)
Also, standard French lessons
- level A2 (low intermediate)
- 2 hours a week
- ask for schedule
Don’t know your level? Ask for a free level test.
I give Skype lessons to people who need or want to improve their French language. I like to use material from the internet (videos, article etc.) to introduce a theme which leads to a lesson and a conversation.
I like to create engaging learning with my students. I will give as homework a document to watch or to read with comprehension exercises so the time we have on skype is only speaking practice and explanation if needed.
I can help you prepare DELF-DALF Exams or work on specific needs (as professional French).
Really like to speak about all the subjects with the student especially those the student like so it gives the motivation to speak in the foreign language.
The free first lesson is organize to know your tastes, your level and your needs so we can plan the next lessons about the objectives you fixed.

Tiska is a very good teacher: her lessons are well structured and she follows your French level perfectly. The method she uses is modern and leaves room for conversation. Homework is a real party with the videos, listening to music videos and grammar which is well explained in the book. I can highly recommend Tiska for your French lesson.

Tere! I am a language teacher with more than ten years of experience. I have worked as a lecturer of Estonian language and culture at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in Ukraine, at the Tallinn University in Estonia and in numerous language schools. Currently, I am a freelance linguist based in Berlin and teach Estonian online.
It is important for me to introduce a language as a simple logical system that is easy to understand and use. As a teacher, I structure my classes and deliver knowledge in a clear and engaging way, combining theory with practice. Besides my endeavours to make my classes useful, I aspire to make them entertaining and fun, so that my students have a great time in the lesson. By teaching students from a wide range of learning techniques, I always try to provide a personal approach to each student and adapt to their needs, so that they are able to continuously improve their grammar and vocabulary.

I have had many lessons with Luisa and I always look forward to them. We begin by chatting about the past week's events and them move to Espresso which I find very useful as a good review of material I have done in the past. There is often additional words used I had not met before. Luisa is always a pleasure to talk with and is a kind and pleasant teacher. She corrects me gently and offers useful words or meanings when appropriate.
Luisa A.Dear Martin thank you so much ! It's my pleasure taking class with you. And thanks a lot for your suggestion about Us movies ( Just Mercy) or Us books

My name is Zoe and I’m a native English speaker from the UK!
I speak four other languages though so I understand how nerve-racking it can be to study a new language and I understand what the typical errors are so I will support you when you make mistakes and I will actually encourage you to make mistakes because ultimately that's how we learn!
I believe I’m an incredibly communicative, open teacher, having taught in 4 countries. Establishing trust and a channel of communication in the classroom adds more life and substance to our lessons where all student needs are met. I like to think of myself as sympathetic, and because I’d been in classes where I was far from challenged and excited, I take having fun in the classroom very seriously (paradoxical pun intended). I have extensive experience teaching both adults and children at different levels and age groups, so I come with a lot of resources, ideas, and activities that are fun, practice different sets of skills and sub-skills, and student- centered.
I can help you with job applications, cover letters, exam preparation, pronunciation and general English.
Since I value learner autonomy and consistently promote it, I encourage my students to be open about their needs so our lessons would be as informative and efficient as possible.
I’m curious, inquisitive, and constantly eager to
experience more, learn more, and of course, teach more! Ireland
was a tad too small for me, so I’ve always had the urge to travel the
world. So far, I’ve taught in Mexico, Italy, Egypt, and Spain – where I
currently reside. I have many creative hobbies such as reading,
drawing, and photography, and a very special fascination with
crime documentaries (perhaps I was a lawyer in my past life).
I embarked on my EFL journey 4 years ago, and I decided it was the
job for me. It all started in the South of Italy where I got the chance
to teach both adults and children and knew I’d found my dream
job. After a while, I knew I had to take my wanderlust and love for
education elsewhere, so I hopped on a plane to Mexico and took my
teaching a step further. In 2018, I landed a job with the British
Council in Egypt, where I took my classroom experience and
married it with pedagogy by doing vocational courses such as the
TYLEC and DELTA M1. Aside from these courses, I did IELTS
Teacher training, and Teaching English in the Early Years
Classroom training. By the time I got to Spain, my thirst for
knowledge was yet to be quenched, so I applied for DELTA M3 to
keep myself intellectually stimulated during quarantine.

I offer smart and fun lessons for all levels and ages! I am a native Turkish speaker from Cyprus and an English teacher by profession. Alongside full-time teaching, I work as a freelance translator/interpreter (Turkish-English) on a part-time basis. I have extensive teaching experience especially with university students, secondary school students and adults. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, I can help you (or your child) improve your language skills with customized lessons and authentic teaching material.
As a language teacher and a language learner myself, I am aware that everyone learns at their own pace and everyone learns in different ways. Therefore, addressing the needs of each student individually is crucial to my teaching approach. It is true that language learning takes time and commitment but online teaching has transformed the learning experience in such a way that, with the help of developing technology and the internet, you can accelerate your learning much faster than you can with traditional teaching methods. Some of the key elements in accelerated learning that I adapt in my teaching methodology are as follows:
Flipped Classroom:
In contrast to conventional teaching methods, students are provided with class material prior to the lesson. This allows them to practice what they have learnt during classroom discussions and activities.
Task-based Approach:
Traditional teaching approaches focused on the content that teachers thought their students needed to learn. This included a lot of emphasis on grammar. Task-based approach, on the other hand, focuses on the skills that the students want to acquire. The teacher no longer focuses on ‘what’ is taught but ‘why’ it is taught.
Lexical Syllabus:
In line with the task-based approach, lexical syllabus focuses on the vocabulary that the student needs to learn in order to perform a specific task. For example, the word ‘asset’ is essential for a business student, similarly, ‘biopsy’ is an essential word for a medical student.
My approach allows me to connect with students' previous learning experiences and knowledge and increase their reflection between what they learn and their life experiences. Overall, it is a student-centered, interactive, collaborative and communicative approach.
