Join a small group of learners of 2 or 3 for conversation lessons with me. An article or video to watch before the lesson and a conversation with personalized corrections during the lesson. This option saves you at least 10 euros per lesson on Colanguage.

I give Skype lessons to people who need or want to improve their French language. I like to use material from the internet (videos, article etc.) to introduce a theme which leads to a lesson and a conversation.
 I like to create engaging learning with my students.  I will give as homework a document to watch or to read with comprehension exercises so the time we have on skype is only speaking practice and explanation if needed.
I can help you prepare DELF-DALF Exams or work on specific needs (as professional French).
Really like to speak about all the subjects with the student especially those the student like so it gives the motivation to speak in the foreign language.
The free first lesson is organize to know your tastes, your level and your needs so we can plan the next lessons about the objectives you fixed.
 
 

Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, I left the country in 1994 to join an internship program in the USA, and have been living abroad ever since. Three years in the US, followed by 4 years in South Korea, where I graduated from the Keimyung University. Continuing on: lived and worked in Dubai, Australia, France and Thailand. Hello everybody. I am a native Turkish speaker. I growed up in Istanbul. Also I am a Turkish Language and Literature teacher/academic with 12 years of experience. I have a BA and MA degree. Now I am writing my doctoral dissertation. It's about 'Turkish Novels'.

I have 6 years experience in teaching Turkish to foreigners. Also I have a "Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language Certicate". Now I am a teaching assistant in a university in Turkey.

I have written a master thesis, two books and now I've been writing my PhD thesis. Turkish literature is my profession. When you made a lot of progress we will read and discuss on Turkish literary. I am a huge fan of Dostoyevksi. I think he is the best author off all times. My favourites from Turkish literary are Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar and İhsan Oktay Anar. Maybe we will be discussing their writings one day, who knows :)

I gave lessons to so many adults. They were from several countries. I can understand my students' needs and organize the lessons according to my students' interests, wishes and their goals. Because I know that: everybody has not same reasons for learning Turkish.
Also I've studied with 12-18 aged teens for two years. I know their needs and I am good at getting along teenagers :)

I know that reality: every student is not same, so I schedule my lessons to each students' individual needs. I know that how a lesson goes more cheerful and educational. I'm using whiteboard in the lessons. (It's essential to explain grammatical points.) Also I am using a lesson book, pictures, flashcards, videos, recordings and and etc. I give homeworks to my students. I'm following my students' progresses.

Hello, my name is Allisha. I am 34 years old and I am from South Africa. I am a qualified TEFL teacher. I am also qualified in TEYL, which is teaching English to young leaners. Having both these qualifications makes it easy for me to interact with students from any age group. I live in the south east of England with my wife and two teenage daughters. I studied Theatre Management at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and I am a TEFL certified English and Business English Teacher. I have had many years professional experience in both the media and education industries.

My learning materials are a book updated with the latest methods while learning a foreign language based on Person's content, the on-line tools I mentioned before so my students can develop interactive worksheets, speaking tasks, writings or vocabulary games and you (my student), who is the key to develop a well structured class with learning purposes.

Learning and teaching languages is my passion. As a theater director, I interact with Russian language and Russian literature on daily basis, so, when teaching Russian, I strive to share my love of it and spread my knowledge.
No less than Russian, I love English, which allows me to communicate with the world. In 2018, I won a Fulbright competition and as a Fulbrighter and Visiting Scholar I taught Russian theater techniques at two American universities - The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and The University of Illinois at Chicago. Qualifications & Experience
As a tutor, I've been teaching Russian online for about 2 years. During this time I've taught around 50 students - from beginners to advanced. Among my students I have had an American military pilot, an American embassy officer in Kazakhstan, dozens of college students, and others. I've gained some experience in diagnosing student problems and finding effective tactics to improve their skills.

Teaching Approach
I believe that it's not enough to learn grammar and vocabulary to master a foreign language. One has to be immersed into a real language, a language people really speak, which is always different from those versions we encounter in various textbooks.
On the other hand, it seems to me important to show students higher examples of the Russian language - the literary language. It's essential to know which speech sounds good and to distinguish it.
I mainly rely on conversational practice. However, as to their homework, I strongly recommend students to listen to Russian speech using various videos and podcasts, and I give them four special techniques for working with these types of materials. I firmly believe that listening can create the basis for future communication skills. There's no doubt that children begin to speak imitating the speech of their parents.
During my lessons I use "Russian in Exercises" written by S.A. Khavronina and A.I. Shirochenskaya - a book published in 2014, which became a bestseller among those who teach Russian as a foreign language, "53 Models of Russian Grammar" by T.M. Dorofeeva and M.N. Lebedeva, various exercises, tables and games, as well as interviewing and retelling.
