I am Teacher Adan and I want you to speak and write English / Spanish. I have worked as an English teacher for more than 3 years with different groups and ages. I have also taught private classes, prepared students for international certifications and improved speaking in one to one lessons. The vast majority of my students succee when we work together as a team in the journey of learning a foreign language. As a result of my years of preparation and practice, I have got a university degree where I had the chance to teach subjects from my career in my senior year as well. I obtained a couple of certifications of trainings and seminars that I have been invited to and I recently obtained an international teaching certification (TEFL) and the English proficiency certificate in C2 level (advanced).
But let's focus on you and your interest in speaking a new language, I invite you to become part of my multiple students and finally be able to communicate in a different language even if your purpose is either for business, education or just for fun.
In my classes I involve my students with topics they are interested in, so that by the moment of speaking it is easy for them to discuss or give their point of view. I use technology to play games such as Kahoot, Google plataform, Charades, Quizizz and Kami. My students are always active producing and doing something so that the class is engaging and dinamic rather than only listening to the teacher. My methodology of work is based on having a learning environment where everyone can ask and participate in the language my students are learning. My main focus is to make everyone understand what I teach and how they can use in real life situations the content I give.
My learning materials are a book updated with the latest methods while learning a foreign language based on Person's content, the on-line tools I mentioned before so my students can develop interactive worksheets, speaking tasks, writings or vocabulary games and you (my student), who is the key to develop a well structured class with learning purposes.
I would love to receive an email from you in case of doubts or confirmation of the schedule for the class and get ready to become the next English / Spanish speaker.
Thanks Nuria. You are such a really good student too and dedicated. See you back in class soon.
Hi, welcome to my profile!
My name is Alessia and I currently live in Italy. I lived some years in America where I deepened my knowledge of English and American dialects. I am currently specializing in the Spanish and German. In all these years I have given private lessons of Italian, English, Spanish and Japanese, at the moment the most required language. Regarding Japanese, I had the opportunity to experience the teaching of the language in an American College with a native Japanese teacher, implementing the method that they themselves use to learn their language. I will help you in a simple way; conversation is really important to learn a language and even more a good method. No days spent on textbooks are needed, constancy and fun during lessons are the most important part for learning. You will see the results immediately! I am patient, flexible and I will adapt in all ways to your personal needs. I'll wait for you on my profile for the trial lesson and discover an easy and fun method to learn a language as soon as possible.
Thank you Hilary!
Hi! My name is Constanza, and I have devoted myself to translation and language teaching for the last four years.
I like my classes to be entertaining and dynamic. I love working with short stories, conversation topics, and videos.
From beginners to advanced students, we will work on your comprehension, fluency, and knowledge on grammar to reach the desired goal.
Individual or group classes will be adapted to the needs and preferences of each student.
I’m looking forward to meeting you!
Constanza Nicole B.
I'm glad you liked it, Octavio! It is a pleasure working with such motivated students. Thank you very much for the comment!
After living and working in the UK and Germany for many years, I moved to Spain where I have been living for the past sixteen years. Certified in London, I taught for language schools in Frankfurt and worked freelance in Spain teaching all levels. I try to get my students to talk as much as possible because in my experience there is often so much emphasis on learning all language rules that being able to communicate disappears into the background. Depending on the student´s goal, I adjust my classes so that we can achieve that goal as much as possible!
Thank you for your feedback Noelle, I will continue to do my very best for you!
Hello my dear future student!
It doesn’t matter how old you are, what is your level of a foreign language and why you want to learn it. If you are already here, then you are ready to plunge into the world of other cultures and this is without any doubt a really cool thing.
I can offer you lessons for any taste and purpose of English, Spanish, French or Russian. I am a diplomated translator with working experience as a tutor (including via Skype) and as a language school teacher. In the course of my professional activity, I worked with children from 6 years old, teenagers and adults up to 65 years old.
I love languages and I want to make YOU loving them as much as I do.
Let's start this adventure together cause "there's no better time than now".
See you soon!
Thank you so much!! It's a big pleasure for me to have such a good student :)
I am very good with beginners and intermediate students. I help with pronunciation, learning new vocabulary and grammar. I always offer corrections and offer endless speaking opportunities.
I enjoy teaching and more than anything I enjoy teaching English, but as much as I teach I am always looking for an opportunity to learn. I allow myself to learn something from my students as many times as they are willing to teach. Together with my students, we create an atmosphere of on-going conversation around our class topic.
I have a Bachelor of English degree, as well as a 120-HOUR TEFL Certificate. I am mostly fluent in English, as it has the language medium throughout my entire life and school career.
My name is Mariateresa, I'm Italian and I teach English, Italian and Spanish to foreign students.
Having lived in Spain during my last year at University, I moved to the UK, where I lived for the next five years. My English at that time was quite poor and I made a living by doing various jobs.
One day, inspired by my amazing English teacher Mandy, I had an idea: why not teach my native language and Spanish to English people and other nationalities? You wouldn’t believe how fascinated people are by these languages!
It was in 2017 when I fell in love with this job. So much so that one year later I successfully attained a TESOL Certificate, to teach English as a foreign language.
Teaching allows me to fully express myself and my personal qualities, such as patience and an ability to give my full attention to other people. By giving students a space in which to express themselves without fear, I create a safe, non-judgemental environment.
When a new student contacts me I always offer them a free trial lesson, so that we can introduce ourselves and I can get to know their level, interests and needs. It's from there that I create the ensuing lessons.
I provide students with a solid grammar base, but also help them to understand the application and use of the language in everyday life. At the same time, I tailor the lesson to suit the students' main interests – such as grammar, speaking, pronunciation, writing or exam preparation. I teach students of different levels, from beginners to advanced.
Although I love teaching in-person, I have adapted myself to teaching online as well. I have also completed a Teaching English Online course offered by Cambridge University. I have to admit that it's a really effective method, plus you meet people from all over the world!
Having lived abroad for several years I know that learning a foreign language requires time, but it's also fun. By speaking in it we can express hidden parts of ourselves – it's a bit like acting!
You can also assimilate the culture from which the language evolves. It's interesting to see how we can change and develop!
My aim is to transmit to students the idea that nothing is impossible. Learning a language is challenging, but entirely achievable if you keep in mind that it's a journey made of small steps.
What is important is to establish those small objectives every day, and reach them with calm determination.
Like a tracker counts the steps that you walk, put on your “count-words tracker” and you'll be surprised at how much you have learned by the end of the day!

For the last 24 years my life has been in English, mainly on the move, having sailed around the world for 2 years on a 13m yacht, worked on a 60m yacht for 10 years as a chef, working with an America’s Cup team in Valencia for 2 years and creating and running a tennis school with my husband in Australia for 6 years, all while teaching English or Spanish wherever I went.
After all those years I came back ‘home’, took the CELTA certification in 2019 and have been teaching at a language school since. My previous teaching experience has been private teaching, working with school children and also with adults that wanted to learn the language to be able to apply for a job, feel more confident at their job within an international environment or just for the fun of it.
I love teaching because I love languages, the pleasure of being able to transmit my knowledge and see students improve makes me thrive in what I do. I take great care in working on what you want, making sure after every couple of lessons we are on track with your goals and that you are happy with our work.
For me learning a language is all about speak, speak, speak! All necessary material will be provided for you in class and if necessary, it will be forwarded beforehand to make it easy and fun for you to learn. Regardless, you will always feel a little bit challenged, that’s where the learning comes in! Whatever we work on we will revise after a lesson or two to make sure that you feel confident and happy with what you have learnt.
I am a mother tongue because I was born in England and I have been living in Italy for many years so I am bilingual. I am certified for teaching English to speakers of other languages (CELTA) and I have been teaching adults of different levels A1 to C1 for almost 10 years. My lessons are tailor-made for the needs of the students and I use authentic materials like newspapers, magazines, songs, videos, and coursebooks to improve the skills needed for communicating in English (reading, speaking, listening, and writing).
Hi, I´m Nancy and I'm originally from Paraguay. My native language is Spanish, and I have a C2 level of English(proficient). I moved to the Netherlands over a year ago and my current level of Dutch is B1 (intermediate). I have over 12 years of experience teaching English to teenagers and adults at a language school. I currently work as a freelancer for a global provider of language training. I've taught General English as well as Medical and Business English one-on-one, to small and large groups. I also have over 4 years of experience teaching Spanish language and culture. If you want to learn Spanish or English to work, study or visit countries in which these beautiful languages are spoken, I might be the right teacher for you! I offer personalized lessons that are fun, interactive and based on what my students need and want to learn. I do so through a variety of activities to help you build your skills step by step; including role-playing (based on real-life situations), Q&As, games, among others. The objective is to keep you talking! Don’t worry about making mistakes; in fact, making mistakes and learning from them help you get better. Reviewing is an important part of my classes. I'm always going back and forth, checking if you still remember content introduced in previous classes.
Before we start our lessons, I need to know your reasons for learning either English or Spanish.. In case you already have some knowledge, I will need to determine what your exact level is. Once I find out about your needs, interests, and level, I will be able to select the right materials and design the right course for you.
We can either work with a textbook (plus extra-materials) or with my own teaching materials. I usually make use of videos, slides, worksheets, and other teaching resources.
We can use any platform of your choice, or if you live in or near Haarlem, Netherlands, we can even have classes face-to-face.
Do you want to learn English from a native English speaker with extensive business experience and a real passion for languages? If so, I would love to hear from you!
I’m serious about making learning fun and adapt lessons to the unique needs of every student – whether your goal is to perfect your Business English or simply to improve your confidence and conversation skills.
Although I ensure my classes are 100% in English, I also speak Dutch, Spanish and Italian. This gives me a real insight into why students find aspects of the English language challenging.
