Teacher Angeli - Your Personal English Guide
Hello! My name is Teacher Angeli and I am 27 years old. I have been teaching English for 6 years and a half now. I teach students of all ages - kids, adults, professionals, etc. My first experience was teaching Chinese kids. Each one of them was different. There were kids who were interested to learn and there were also those who were just forced to take the lesson. So, my teaching style depends on the age, level and personality of the child. I always have my rewards and realias to back me up just in case, they are in the mood for a class. I also play online games with them to motivate them to finish our lesson. I have also experienced teaching Korean adults. Most of them like to have a free talk with me so I always see to it that I am updated with current events. I need to up my game when teaching adults because there will always be times when the students are very good and I'd feel intimidated but then again, I always keep in mind that I am here to help them with their English skills. If you book my class, I will always do my best in every session and see to it that your payment is worth every penny you invest. See you in class!

Hi, my name is Alessia, I teach Italian to foreigners.
After the degree in Visual Arts, I obtained the CEDILS certification by Ca' Foscari University of Venice for teaching Italian to foreigners.
I have collaborated on various educational projects, language learning apps, educational and recreational videos for children.
I am available to help you with your personal projects if you need help writing for example a theme, a letter, or your curriculum vitae.
An example of one of my lessons to learn the language in a more fun way? Through the analysis of a scene taken from an Italian film, we will analyze the syntax, grammar, idioms, puns, we will hear the accents so that you too can speak like an Italian.
I can help you learn Italian in many ways, personalizing the lessons as much as possible according to your needs.

Hi, my name is Ayşegül. I graduated from Hacettepe University in the department of English Language Teaching. I'm an English teacher in a private institution now. I can teach both English and Turkish.
First and foremost, I want to start with one of my favourite quotation from Richard Henry Dana(!) (I'm not sure whether this quotation belongs to him or not, but I liked it. :) “He who dares to teach must never cease to learn.” First of all, we as teachers must improve ourselves about everything such as cultural knowledge, technology, best seller books new novels etc. We should keep up with the times and try to understand our students.
Then we should know students’ interests, needs, backgrounds and their level of English / Turkish. If we know the aforementioned things, it would be easier for us to decide what kind of materials we can use to attract their attention. Also, one of the key points is that we should motivate the students to learn. As teachers we should teach our students why they learn language/grammar/vocabulary etc. rather than just memorization. Regarding teaching methods we can use student-centered methods. We should use examples from real life so they can broaden students’ knowledge. Also using examples from real life, help students to internalize the examples. I strongly believe that we should make our students acquire the language from all aspects including reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
All in all, as a teacher we have lots of things to do. One of our most important responsibilities’ is to help students to understand that they have enough power and capacity to learn a language if they are determined enough....

Before deciding to take private lessons, I had been learning turkish by myself seriously for about two years but I definitively do not regret starting the private lessons which are way more efficient and pleasant. I have now been studying turkish with Aysegül for more than 4 months. I would greatly recommend choosing Aysegül as a turkish tutor. She is both serious and well organized (the lessons are well prepared, she also provides the students with useful summary's of the lessons as well as some additional cultural or educative content, she give the students some homework that she always correct before the next lesson) as well as a kind, patient and didactic teacher.

Hello everyone! My name is Matias Pizarro, but you can call me Matt. I am 30 years old, and I am from Argentina.
At first, teaching online was a challenge, not for the knowledge, the didactic or the way to get to students, but for the whole new set of resources at my disposal and how to use them effectively. The variety of tricks with the camera, magic, puppets, the limit was my imagination; that feeling was really overwhelming. But, as I said at first, I took this as a challenge, a new way of expanding my inner resourses and finally, widening my understanding about teaching.
Working with kids was the most important and significant choice in my professional career as a teacher, because I discovered the real meaning of being an educator. I understood that it's not just about teaching the subject, but guiding and supporting students; being an inspiring person. I like to comprehend teaching by a very beautiful phrase that stands: Be the person that you needed when you were young.
If you choose me as your teacher, I promise that you will learn a lot of things while having a great time together!
See you in our class! Bye!

Self-study video course in Bulgarian for total beginners and Low-Intermediate learners:
https://www.skillshare.com/r/profile/Zlatko-Zlatev/667906469?gr_tch_ref=off
Hello,
My name is Zlatko. I believe that learning Bulgarian online with me gives you the best of both worlds: fast progress and enjoyment.Taking on the challenge to learn a new language is impressive. The reasons might be different. Some people give it a go because they just like new things. Others need to learn a new language because they are moving to a country where the language is spoken. Remember that whatever your reason is, it is your motivation that is the key to successful learning.
Who am I and why to pick me:
- online and face-to-face teaching experience: over 15 years helping hundreds of students achieve their language goals
- flexibility: willing to tailor my techniques to both your interests and specific needs
- patience and excellent listening skills
- honesty and collaboration: let's build trust and consider our work as a partnership
- native Bulgarian speaker with oustanding educational background
- sense of humour
Material
All lessons are interlinked to promote better and more memorable learning, with the flexibility to pick out key sections to focus on certain language points. All language is clearly signposted and scaffolded so there is great clarity of progression of learning - students can really feel they are getting somewhere.
In general, my teaching style includes, but is not limited to:
- speaking practice through role-play activities
- stotytelling and discussions
- gap filling excercises
- listening comprehension
- vocabulary development
- accent reduction
How does that grab you? If interested, drop me a line and we will discuss your language goals and expectations.
I OFFER a 15 MINUTE TRIAL LESSON TO DEMONSTRATE WHAT MY TEACHING METHOD LOOKS LIKE.
Hope to see you soon.
Here are a few tips on how to get the most out of every lesson:
1. Review what you covered in your previous lesson.
2. Focus on things you had difficulty with. I will definitely go over them.
3. It is always a great idea to take notes during your lessons. It helps you stay more focused on what you are learning.
4. Feel free to ask me if anything has come up since your last lesson that you want clarification on. Your questions do not have to be prior lesson related, maybe you are just curious about how to say something.
5. Be sure you have completed your homework assignments. If you were not able to complete them, make notes about what stumped you. Were the instructions not clear enough, was the vocabulary beyond your level of comprehension, were the grammar rules too overwhelming, was there too much homework for the time you had planned to spend on it, and so on.
6. Contact me prior to your next lesson if there are any issues or changes you would like to make me aware of so I can have a chance to make changes to your learning plan.
I look forward to seeing you in my lessons.

I am a 29 year old female, native English speaker from Cape Town, South Africa.
I am a fun, enthusiastic and creative individual who has over 10 years of experience in teaching .I have taught in various parts of the world, South Africa, Thailand, Columbia, Peru, Europe and UK just to name a few. I have taught both children and adults. I am passionate about teaching and find inspiration in witnessing the growth students experience within my online classes.
I feel that my experience as an au-pair, home school teacher as well as home-room teacher at various schools and online has taught me the value of improvising, taking initiative and empowering young individuals to enable each child within my care to feel inspired and to know their own unique and individual strengths. I feel that my training in psychology is truly something that has helped with every individual I have worked with. My biggest commitment as a teacher is to teach children and adults to know their worth and to instill confidence within each individual, so that they are able to realize their potential and feel encouraged to learn more.
I have found myself wishing to broaden my experience in teaching and I am currently in the position where I’m looking for new challenges in the field, and ultimately self-development. I feel that teaching online is the perfect position that will allow me to contribute to the lives of students I teach and something that will bring a great amount of reward in my life as well as that of the individuals I teach.
I am patient and make sure each student understands the concepts before moving forward. My lessons are fun and engaging and allow students opportunity to practice what they have learnt. Zoom or Skype is used and customized lessons can be planned based on the individuals level and needs. I am passionate about educating and ensuring students reach their full potential. I look forward to meeting you soon.

I am a certified English/Arabic/French/Italian teacher with two degrees in Interpreting and Translation and three Cambridge Teacher Trainings (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA). I am currently enrolled in the DELTA program (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) which is the highest English teacher training worldwide recognized.
At the beginning of my classes, it is important to evaluate students' needs and aims and in order to do that, I will send a "needs' analysis" so that I can better help you with your learning.
I mainly use Zoom as teaching platform because I think it is much better than Skype or Microsoft Teams because it allows a much better student-teacher interaction pattern.
According to Steven Krashen, one of the most renown linguist and education experts: "The best methods are therefore those that supply 'comprehensible input' in low anxiety situations, containing messages that students really want to hear. These methods do not force early production in the second language but allow students to produce when they are 'ready', recognizing that improvement comes from supplying communicative and comprehensible input, and not from forcing and correcting production".
Personally, I think that this is the right approach to teach because as a teacher we need to create a safe environment for our students, lower their effective filter so they can perform at their best potential.
I realized after years of experience as a languages student and teacher that several countries not just my country (Italy) have been using a teaching methodology which is obsolete and not suitable for students' needs and aims. The 80-20 rule is the sure way to achieve this goal. Can you guess which part is the student's one? The 80 of course, you are the one who needs to improve, to talk and learn. We as teachers we are doing whatever it takes to guide you through the process.
During my experience as a teacher I worked with teenagers, university students and adults. I had the pleasure to teach Arabic to university students who needed further assistance for their exams. I taught to adults’ businessmen who needed to learn the basis of Arabic because of their work. I taught French and English to teenagers and university students that needed further help with their exams or simply to improve their listening and speaking skills. I have also experience in teaching Business English.

I am an English teacher from Liverpool in England. I have been teaching around the world in countries that include Indonesia, Malaysia, Belgium, Taiwan and Spain.
I now teach English and Geography in a secondary school in Liverpool but retain my passion for teaching EFL by doing online lessons. I am a lively, dynamic and well organised teacher, and I like to provide stimulating lessons where communication is the main goal.
I want to target my lessons so they give you, the student, exactly what you are looking for. My experience means I can give classes in conversation, all levels of English, academic or exam classes or Business English. I have learnt several languages myself and I have found that speaking is the best way to learn, so I employ the communicative method in teaching, but set homework assignments and give written feedback outside the lessons.
Book a free trial lesson and we can have a chat, find out about you and what your goals are in learning English. Hope to see you soon!

Hi! Am Teacher Ruth. I've specialized in English Literature and I've also acquired a TESOL certificate. I have 10 years of experience teaching English. I'm social and passionate about teaching. My lessons are fun and humorous and so my students enjoy. My greatest achievement as a teacher is seeing my students excel in their exams and freely communicate in English. My greatest goal here is to help you;
1.Gain English listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.
2.Build your vocabulary.
3.Feel free to engage in any English conversation comfortably.
4.Improve your pronunciation.
5.Prepare well for exams.
I'm patient and kind with my students and I have the ability to understand their needs at their different levels and ages. I've been teaching my own 5-year-old son who can now communicate freely and comfortably in English, at his age.

Welcome to my profile!
My name is Daniela, or “Daniella” as my students call me.
I have been working as Italian teacher for two years to migrants, for refugee centers and humanitarian corridors in Italy. I have had experience with first literacy and also I have worked with begginers and intermidiate students, who I prepared to Linguistic Certification. I have worked with single student and with groups.
My opinion is “Viva l’intercultura”, that means looking at the person’s linguistic needs. Italian lessons become a space where the cultures meet and match each other, and step by step, the student can build the Italian language. For me, the cultures exchange is very important.
I’d rather to teach with an inductive, interactive, and cooperative method, which focus on communication functions, but doesn’t forget the grammar. I use manuals, worksheets, interactive games, songs and video.

My availability changes all the time! Contact me for bookings! I cannot keep the calendar up to date, so I have chosen to not add any availability!
I was born in Norway in 1958. Since 1999, I have been living in Madeira, Portugal. My interests are many; music, photography, art, animals, nature, gardening, healthy food, teaching….
Qualifications & Experience
My academic background is in music and pedagogy from the Norwegian State Academy of Music, with some extra from Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, and Norway Inland University of Applied Sciences.
I have many years of experience as a musician, teaching music and musical instruments.
Teaching language is closely related to teaching music.
I am teaching Norwegian as a Foreign Language online at Folkeuniversitetet Øst, Myngel and LTC language solutions, and have been teaching at Lingu Norge and Learnship as well. I have also been teaching at Berlitz Virtual Classroom (BVC) for a couple of years before I was Lead Instructor – Recruitment and Training at BVC.
I love to teach my language! That’s why you can find me here as Norwegian Online Teacher!
Teaching approach
Maybe you do not speak one word of Norwegian. Maybe you just want to practice speaking, or need grammar corrections.
Lessons are customized to fit the student’s need, with the reason why they want to learn Norwegian in mind: For work, daily life etc.
My teaching approach is “learning by speaking”. Speaking rather than cramming grammar and vocabulary from a book. We may also need material to work with. Depending on student’s need, this material could be the same as what is being used for immigrants to Norway.
Lessons
Please have a USB headset with a microphone – or ear pods w/microphone!It gives the best audio experience during the Skype sessions, and it separates the speaker from the microphone. It is important that I can hear your pronunciation clearly.
The first time we meet, I will find out on which level your Norwegian is.We will talk about your reasons for learning the language, your learning preferences, the approach to take, and which material to use if any.
Before the first lesson, and regardless of which level you are on, I do not expect anything more than a new student eager to learn my language!
