Recently, the health situation has prompted me to leave my home country and start a professional retraining. Passionate about English since childhood, I chose to do the TEFL Course to be able to teach the language. Having just graduated with distinction, I would now like to move on to the next step of my apprenticeship : Teaching.

My first lessons will be based on the PPP method or Presentation-Practice-Production. This method consists, first of all, in presenting or having people guess the target language before giving learners the opportunity to practice it through controlled activities. During the last step of the lesson, students have the opportunity to produce the language in freer activities.

I will try, as much as possible, to give my students a way to discover the target language for themselves, based on their existing knowledge. Also, since the practice of a foreign language requires oral comprehension, my lessons will be entirely given in English.

Hi! I am Maaike, a Dutch primary school teacher. Every day I'm doing by best to teach the Dutch language well to the childeren, but also other languages ​​such as English and Spanish.
I have more than 12 years of experience as a teacher, in the Netherlands and abroad, to young and old!
In the Netherlands I have experience in each grade, so I know exactly how the Dutch language is given in primary education. This can certainly help children, but also adults who want to learn the Dutch language in a correct way, having a good basic knowledge is the most important part of learning a new language.
I lived in Spain for 3 years where I taught English to Spanish children and adults. During that period I also followed an intensive language course to learn the Spanish language.     Lithuanian language is one of the Baltic countries languages. Some people are travelling to Lithuania, some of them are working or studying over there. So it's really good to know how to say very simple words, as hello, how are you, good mornng, thank you, you're welcome, where, how and etc. It's necessary because the main language is Lithuanian in that country 

    I am lithuanian and was learning other languages. So I can understand you very well, how do you feel in foreign country without language. You want to say something, ask or express yourself, but you can't. I would like to teach you. I like helping people and I have almost 10 years experience in teaching with different age people from different countries and culturies. I also graduated Glasgow Caledonian University, which of course required IELTS.

I'm an experienced language teacher with 5 years of experience teaching Catalan, Spanish and English to all levels and ages (children and adults) and German to beginners. I've worked as a private teacher and as a teacher in a school, so I can handle students one to one as well as groups. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, I also have experience in online teaching.
I've got a degree in Catalan and English philology, a post-degree in teaching Catalan and the official master for teaching in secondary and Language Schools (English speciality).
In my classes I always take into account my students' needs. I focus on communication, without forgetting that we need to learn the grammar in order to speak/write correctly.
I use different materials depending on the level, the language and the students, but they are always of diverse nature and they include videos. I usually include material created by me.
