I have had 7 years of experience in teaching English in Turkey. After graduating from Gazi University, English Language Teaching (ELT) department in 2009, I started my teaching career as an English teacher at a private primary and secondary school. I worked there for a year and taught general English to 3rd and 7th grades at primary school.
Then I started to work as an English instructor at Erciyes University, one of the public universities in Turkey, for a year and taught general English to prep school students. After that I worked for 5 years as an English instructor at Fatih University, a leading private university in Istanbul, and I taught general English to prep school students. I also worked for a year in testing office at Fatih University Prep School and prepared exam questions for B1 level students with my team. Meanwhile, I worked as an assistant coordinator of B1 level at Fatih university prep school. In 2014, I started my MA degree in ELT department at Fatih university while I was also working there.
In the Netherlands, I worked as a volunteer teacher at a college (Havo & VWO groups) and at Utrecht University English Academy for Newcomers in 2020. I taught English to IELTS groups (B1 & B2 level students) there.
