OnlineTeacher of English, Dutch, German, Swedish, Russian
Hello! I'm working as a translator and interpreter and I teach English, Dutch, German, Swedish, and Russian. To get a better idea about me, I'll tell you my special relationship with each of these five languages.
German is my native language and I have been teaching it to foreign learners in courses here in Germany. English is the language I use most in everyday work in contact with my translation colleagues and with friends from various countries. I am fluent in Dutch, having studied Scandinavian and Slavic languages in Groningen, in our neighbouring country - the Netherlands.
Swedish was actually my first "foreign" language. I learned it on various holidays with my parents in Scandinavia, when I was a young child. I love the Nordic countries and so I decided to make it one of the main languages of my university studies. Next to that, I studied Russian in Groningen and in St Petersburg and became fluent in that language when me and my girl friend made it the "family language" for our child who grew up bilingually.
So if you are interested to learn one of these languages - be it for professional or private reasons, for your holidays or family or just for fun, you are welcome. I give individual lessons for any level and according to your special wishes.

Hello everyone! I hold a bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Germanic Studies obtained at the University of Yaoundé 1 .I also hold a DIPES II (Secondary Teacher Diploma) ) in German obtained at the Higher Teacher Training College of Yaounde. I also hold two French Teaching Certificates. Moreover, I was trained as professional translator in ASTI (Advanced School of Translators and Interpreters) at the University of Buea and my language combinations are English to French and German to French. Since 2009, I teach German as foreign language and French to high school students. I also give private lessons in French to foreigners especially English or German speakers. You speak English or German and want to learn and speak French confidently, so you have someone available to help you achieve your goals.
There are several teaching methods that I combine with three approaches. While teaching, I help the learner to use the language to perform tasks; this is the action-oriented- approach. Furthermore, I encourage the learner to express himself /herself a lot, especially orally, because the aim is to learn the language and to use it in a specific communicative situation. This is the communicative approach. Finally, I like the cultural approach. I help the learner to discover cultural elements, since language and cultures are linked.
I create learning materials according to the needs of the students. So I use podcasts, pdf files, authentic documents, images...that I get online from various sites.

I am a TESOL certified. I have taught many students English and German for beginners in my home country for the past few years. I was an intern at one of the best law firms in Zimbabwe for two years. My passion in English teaching was derived at a young age in school . I was the most fluent, therefore I taught other students of my level and below who had difficulties. They understood my interpretations and explanations. This made me a competent tutor who possesses a mastery of English. I believe that the best way of tutoring is to make sure that both the student and tutor reach an equal level of understanding using a friendly platform. A tutor should be more of a friend in order to understand the student's perspective. I believe that a tutor should be polite in order to be accessed. Being approachable in this case is understanding that English is not the student's native language, therefore the tutor should expect that the student will ask a lot of questions. The best tutors are welcoming and easy to approach .A good English tutor should have the ability to build caring relationships with students. In teaching, knowledge about the Subject matter is not enough. Mostly, learning would be impossible if the student is not comfortable during the lesson. If a student feels that a tutor cares for them, he/she will probably perform better because he/she can feel the support that a Tutor is willing to give them. Great tutors not only care about their job but also the welfare of a student. A charismatic tutor must be respectful. In some circumstances, a tutor will have multilingual classes wherein a student is from a different country. In that case a charismatic tutor must be sensitive to cultural differences and traditions of their student. A student should feel safe and welcomed. Most importantly, a great tutor is passionate. The most important value an English tutor should have is passion. A tutor faces Students everyday having different cultures and styles of learning. That is the reason why tutors should be passionate. This happens when tutors think teaching is not only a job for a living, it is also living for the job. My attitude reflects all the character traits mentioned above and many other qualities that make me your best tutor!

Hi, welcome to my profile!
My name is Alessia and I currently live in Italy. I lived some years in America where I deepened my knowledge of English and American dialects. I am currently specializing in the Spanish and German. In all these years I have given private lessons of Italian, English, Spanish and Japanese, at the moment the most required language. Regarding Japanese, I had the opportunity to experience the teaching of the language in an American College with a native Japanese teacher, implementing the method that they themselves use to learn their language. I will help you in a simple way; conversation is really important to learn a language and even more a good method. No days spent on textbooks are needed, constancy and fun during lessons are the most important part for learning. You will see the results immediately! I am patient, flexible and I will adapt in all ways to your personal needs. I'll wait for you on my profile for the trial lesson and discover an easy and fun method to learn a language as soon as possible.

Hello and nice to meet you!
My name is Laura Borger and I am a qualified language teacher. I have been teaching Dutch to young and old for the past seven years.
I have been teaching online for a year now and I love it. My students range from beginners to advanced, so I have collected tons of materials for all levels.
Also, at the University of Leiden I completed the Master Linguistics and the Master Education.
My lessons are based on the needs and interests of my students. For example, if you are in need of grammar, I will adjust my material accordingly. Or if you want to focus on speaking skills, I have tons of activities to develop this skill too!
My personal goal is to ensure that my classes are dynamic, active and fun! I use games, current topics and digital exercises and I feel the proudest when I can really observe the progress in my student's Dutch level.
I offer a free trial lesson of 25 minutes!

Hello everybody, I am Revan. I am a native Turkish speaker. I am an experienced Turkish instructor who has taught Turkish as a foreign language in Turkey and the U.S.A.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field. I hold both DELTA and TESOL certificates, both of which are world-known language teaching specialization trainings. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for more than ten years and teaching Turkish as a foreign language for over five years. As an English language teacher, I have worked with different age groups and specialized with teens and adults. I have been working for one of the top universities in Turkey as a language instructor. As for Turkish language teaching, I worked as a Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant and taught Turkish at Amherst College, UMass- Amherst, Smith College, and Mt. Holyoke College.
In years, I have learned that there is no one specific teaching method as all methods are unique to the needs and abilities of the students. That's why I apply methods ranging from communicative language teaching to flipped-classroom based on the learners' needs.

Hello everyone! My name is Javier and I have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for more than 10 years. In addition to being a graduate (in philosophy and literature), I have the certificate of pedagogical aptitude from the Spanish Ministry of Education and I am certified by the Cervantes Institute as a Spanish teacher. But as I say, above all I have more than 10 years of experience teaching the language, giving private classes, both face-to-face and online, in schools, academies, language schools, companies, in short, in all possible areas. My methodology is very simple, it consists of understanding the student, detecting their needs and objectives, but also their way of being and studying. How do I do this? Easy, because I am a normal guy. I like reading, traveling, meeting my friends, watching movies, sports, painting, making music, in short, I think and feel like you, this is what I offer, honesty, and the tools for you to express yourself in the language about all facets of life, both professional and private. Some people believe that it is enough to learn a lot of words about a certain area, tourism for example, and that's fine, it's useful. But what is really going to make the difference is your ability to express what you want to say, and this is what I am going to teach you, how to express yourself in the language, how to look for what you want and get it. As for the materials, don't worry, I will give you everything you need, textbooks, audio material, video, etc. If you want homework, you won't be short of it! Someone once said that language is the disguise of thought. Well, dare to think differently, speak Spanish!
