Hello,

I'm offering informal Dutch and English lessons based on conversation and will conduct my lessons for as much as possible in the target language.

I use text, weblinks to tv shows to get us talking and am a fan of the TPRS method.
There's a lot of information on that method online. Basically it's getting to know the structure Dutch and English through simple conversation. (questions about 1 or several sentences on any topic)

I have some useful weblinks to tv shows in Dutch (with subtitles in Dutch) adjusted to your level and the shows are entertaining too. :-)
We can discuss the shows preferably in the target language of course.

I can explain some grammar too if needed and have articles and books ready to read from. This again will be adjusted to your proficiency. But of course if you'd like to focus on a topic which has your interest that is possible as well. This makes it more personal and more fun.

I've been teaching for about a year now on another platform to students from all over the world and really enjoy having the experience again as I used to be a vocal coach back in the days when I attended conservatory in the Netherlands.

I have completed my Bachelors of Science in The Netherlands, and my Masters of Science in the UK. I have thereafter completed my TEFL course in Cambodia and I now teach in Mexico to a kindergarten class for children aged between 4 and 6. We speak and teach English language, conversation, math and reading. I'm aware that every student has their own needs, and know how everybody learns at their own pace. I'd be happy to teach students of all ages at beginners levels the English Language and everything that comes with it. I'm a patient, empathetic person with a lot of energy, but most important to me is that my students improve and succeed!

I come from the town of Vidin, Bulgaria. I am a qualified English and Bulgarian teacher. I graduated back in 1972 from Sofia University with an MA in English Philology and Bulgarian Philology as a second subject. Since then I have spent most of my professional career teaching Bulgarian students.

My name is Yora Atanasova. I have been a tutor of English and Bulgarian online since 2013, in-person in non-formal language schools, and then solo online.

I have also worked as a staff training and qualification expert within the Bulgarian career guidance system in education. For a decade, I have been an independent EU expert in the fields of vocational training and guidance and non-formal education mainly.

METHODS

Facilitating natural learning through creative solo activity and in-group interaction and communication, with some flavor of art.

Methods used are largely based on Suggestopedia and "democratic education" under the school models of Sudbury Valley (USA) and Summerhill (UK), plus ICT.

This creative language learning in small groups through reading/writing and communication includes:
- TWO GROUP EVENTS a week: a webinar and a presentation event;
- DAILY TASKS between the group events: SOLO ones - on individual creative projects, and peer project reviews IN MICRO GROUPS of 3÷4 people.
There is much solo work of creative character to be done and enjoyed, as well as feedback e-forms to be filled in.

The two group activities take place on:
✓ Monday and Wednesday;
or
✓ Tuesday and Thursday.

The weekly project produce can be:
- A written text, original or translation;
- An audio story / video with the text display;
- A combination of both.
