I'm Isabel, a native English speaker from the UK, based in Spain! I am a patient, enthusiastic, passionate teacher with seven years of experience tutoring.

I started helping out at my secondary school and I was later recommended as a tutor by the school and went on to tutor children in differing subjects. Having always had a great passion for languages, Spanish and French have been my main focus when it comes to tutoring; helping many students prepare for their GCSE and A-Level exams with a variety of oral, listening, reading and writing-based classes.

In my gap-year, I worked towards a Trinity Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, which gave me the necessary tools needed to prepare lessons that would be both dynamic and rewarding for my students.

In 2018 I spent 6 months in Paraguay teaching English at a local school. While this enabled me to achieve fluency in Spanish, my packed schedule with all ages and abilities meant it was essential to adapt my methods of teaching to accommodate each individual student’s needs. While studying for a Masters in Translation last year, for which I achieved a distinction, I also worked as a tutor at Pembroke Tutors, preparing students for MFL exams and also teaching English. I am currently located in Granada, where I tutor online and teach English to Spanish children.

Of course, teaching is always a very personalised task but I feel that my experience means I am able to quickly understand my students and their styles of learning.

Hello! My name is Erofili and I teach Modern Greek. I have more than ten years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults. I have a Bachelor’s in English Language and a post-graduate degree in teaching methodology. I’m fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and speak a little bit of Italian.

I have travelled extensively, lived and taught in Italy and Spain so I’m quite familiar with different cultures and learning styles.

When I teach a lesson I take into consideration two factors: Students’ needs and their interests.

I also give them extra homework in case they want to study the language by themselves and correct it offline.

Hello everyone! I'm Marta, and I am an Italian teacher. Since the beginning of my career I have worked in contact with foreign languages and Italian. While studying to obtain my master's degree in "Italian language and culture for foreigners", I had the opportunity to work as an Italian language assistant in a foreign University. More recently, I held an Italian course for people who have just arrived in Italy.
My greatest passion is literature, which I avidly read. To pursue this interest I also undertook a post-graduate master in translation, which allowed me to become a Spanish translator and to explore the world of editing by doing an internship at an independent publishing house. I am also fluent in English.
The classes for my students are centred around oral communication and Italian grammar, so I put great effort to exclusively speak Italian and avoid using other languages. I personalise PowerPoint presentations for my students, and I regularly prepare weekly assignments to be revised during the following lesson, in order to encourage individual study. The first class is free and is centred around the interests and needs of the student, in order to create a personalized and engaging program.

My name is Katerina, I’m a native Russian speaker and a foreign language teacher from St Petersburg, Russia. I’ve always been addicted to learning foreign languages, be it English, German, Spanish, Turkish or Arabic, so turning my passion into my job was just a matter of time. I have a Master’s degree in linguistics which taught me to understand the way the mechanism of a language works and thus to help my students see the logics behind the grammar rules. Being a constant language learner enables me to see the process from both sides and to predict the difficulties my students might face. The fact that I’m not a native speaker of English or German means I’ve been through exactly the same language-learning journey you’re about to take, and thanks to my personal experience as a student, I can make this road smooth for you.

Hello! My name is Deborah! I am a language instructor. I teach Italian, English and Bulgarian. I have more than 15 years teaching experience, both face-to-face and online to individual as well as to small and large groups. At the moment I am teaching Italian in a private school in Sofia, Bulgaria- where I lived for more than 10 years. I teach English to students ready to move to English speaking countries for work, and to students who need Еnglish for their career. I attended the College (tourism) in Lucca-Italy. I have a diploma in Secretarial and Business Administration from the South Kensington and Chelsea Collage in London- (I lived in London few years ago). I have a TEFL certificate -grade A.  and an ECL certificate in Bulgarian C1 with 96/100. Therefore, I have a good knowledge of how languages work and I can provide my students with helpful insight. I have been teaching English for eleven years to different nationalities of different levels. I have taught Grammar classes, conversational courses, TOIEC classes, and text courses for beginners.
