I've been working as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language at well-known university in Moscow (Peoples' Friendship University of Russia) and at private school for expats in Moscow. So I teach students from zero level who further study in Russian at the university and high management of top companies and embassies to know Russian for living in here.

My name is Cristina, I'm a CELTA qualified English teacher and I have a Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages; I speak English fluently and I can communicate in Italian, Portuguese, French and Spanish. Being a language learner myself and thanks to my educational background I have a deep understanding of language structure and I can easily put myself in my students’ shoes and understand the areas they might struggle with.
I’ve been giving private lessons for one year, to both teenagers and adults of all levels. My lessons are very student-centered, which means that my first priority is to get to know you in order to tailor the lessons around your needs and interests. I create a friendly and trustful environment, I plan my lessons to be engaging and communicative and I encourage my students to take active part in the discovery of the target language. I use a wide variety of coursebooks, online tools and authentic materials that I adapt to online teaching through powerpoint presentations and file sharing. I'm a venezuelan living in France since 2013 where I teach Spanish at university level and prepare my PhD. I love languages and communication, I am also interested in knowing different cultures and their history.

How will I teach you italian? By playing!
I know that studying a language by reading a grammar book and mechanically completing the attached exercises can be boring and above all does not train your mind.

Learning instead should be a pleasure, so I like to use small funny videos, songs, puzzles and so on.
I also prefer the inductive method so that you can understand how Italian works on your own and then fix the grammatical rules together.
That way you’ll learn Italian without even realizing it!

But all this depends on you and how you prefer to study. I will be very happy to adopt the method that suits your case. The most important thing is that you get your goals with pleasure!

Hello everyone! I'm Marta, and I am an Italian teacher. Since the beginning of my career I have worked in contact with foreign languages and Italian. While studying to obtain my master's degree in "Italian language and culture for foreigners", I had the opportunity to work as an Italian language assistant in a foreign University. More recently, I held an Italian course for people who have just arrived in Italy.
My greatest passion is literature, which I avidly read. To pursue this interest I also undertook a post-graduate master in translation, which allowed me to become a Spanish translator and to explore the world of editing by doing an internship at an independent publishing house. I am also fluent in English.
The classes for my students are centred around oral communication and Italian grammar, so I put great effort to exclusively speak Italian and avoid using other languages. I personalise PowerPoint presentations for my students, and I regularly prepare weekly assignments to be revised during the following lesson, in order to encourage individual study. The first class is free and is centred around the interests and needs of the student, in order to create a personalized and engaging program.

Join a small group of learners of 2 or 3 for conversation lessons with me. An article or video to watch before the lesson and a conversation with personalized corrections during the lesson. This option saves you at least 10 euros per lesson on Colanguage.
