    Days of the week in German

    Let's start this lesson with the days of the week! The days of the week are in German quite similar as in English. In English the days of the week end in the word "day", in German most of the days end in the word "Tag" (exception: Wednesday = Mittwoch). As you already can imagine, "Tag" is the translation of "day". In the following list, you can see the days of the weeks translated in German:
